On the top of the hill, above the Cave of the Springs of Aggitis River, lie the ruins of a fort that probably dates back to the late Roman or Byzantine times. In many places, the fort height reaches 3 metres. The thickness of the wall is about 1 m. This fort allowed residents to control the valley and the passages to the area.
