The church is located at the chestnut forest of Menikio Mountain and it is distinguished by its special bell tower and its wood-carved iconostasis with 19th century icons. Every year, on the eve of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Cultural Association of Panorama organizes a great traditional and folk feast under the old plane tree in the square of the village.
