The ruined Church of Saint Demetrius is built on a plateau that is formed between the peaks of Mount Menikio, three km west / northwest of the village of Panorama. The location is not visible by the main access roads to the area. The main part of the church is preserved intact and is a remarkable sample of post-Byzantine architecture. The wood-carved iconostasis extends almost across the entire height of the church. The interior surfaces of the walls are covered with frescoes.
