Church of the Ascension

Located in Pavelsko
In the village of Pavelsko is the Church of the Ascension, which was built in 1834 in 40 days. It is a three-nave basilica with four columns and five arches in each basilica. It has three altar apses. It was consecrated in 1836 to Ilinden by Metropolitan Nathanael Plovdiv. The bell tower was built in 1865. It is 8 meters from the church, 17 meters high and has 5 floors. The temple was declared a cultural monument.
